Okay fellas, here's a list of rules I think we should abide by in order to keep this band from killing eachother, mortally wound is fine, just not killing. This list is as follows:
1. Everyone's ideas have merit.
2. When two people are talking, stop playing. I will have a few random objects to throw at offenders.
3. Never ever stop the entire band mid-song to tell someone that they're playing their part wrong.
4. Rule #3 applies double if you're the drummer, triple if you're the lead guitar player.
5. Majority rules - no one person runs the band. This is music for the people, by the people.
6. If you're going to miss a practice, call and let us know so we don't wait for you, I realize that's kinda understood, however I feel it is worth mention.
7. Don't let your girlfriend(s) - Brad lol, - get in the way of a practice, I assume that Sunday will be the day for that, but don't skip a practice just because you want to see her. I can understand if she's going on vacation and won't be back for a few weeks, it's totally understandable, just let everyone know.
8. Buzzed playing is okay - drunk playing (gigs) is a waste of time, practice is fine.
9. The standard meal for band practice is beer and pizza. Everyone contributes equally, whether that means splitting each bill evenly or paying in rotation.
10. Remember that we're doing this because we enjoy it. Try to have fun.
